Jesse Marlo Lazowski grew up around jewelry, her aunt dealt in antiques, and at 13 Jesse turned her grandmother Miriam's old brooch into a necklace. That instinct never left her. A trip to Jaipur years later, working alongside artisans there, is what pushed her to start the brand for real. She came back to new york, studied gemology, and built Marlo Laz around the same idea that started it all: something old, made new, and worth keeping.
